Thumbnails load straight from YouTube's public image servers.
Thumbnails belong to the video owner. Use them for preview or reference, or ask the owner before reusing them.
Sizes you get
Most videos carry a maximum resolution thumbnail of 1280×720, plus standard, high and medium quality versions and the small default one. If a video was uploaded without a large thumbnail, the bigger sizes may not exist — that is a YouTube setting, not a fault in this tool.
What this tool does not do
It only reads the public image files that YouTube already serves for every video. It cannot fetch the video itself, audio, subtitles or captions, and it does not remove watermarks or bypass any protection.
Why exact age matters for forms
Government and job forms usually ask for age as on a cut-off date, not your age today. That is why this calculator has an "as on" field: set it to the last date for the application and you get the exact figure the form expects. The same applies to school admission cut-offs and some visa categories.
Different ways to read an age
- Years and months for everyday use.
- Total months or weeks for medical records and child development.
- Total days for eligibility rules and waiting periods.
- Days until the next birthday for planning celebrations.
Leap year and birthday edge cases
If you were born on 29 February, the calculator counts your birthday on 28 February in non-leap years. Ages measured from a month end, for example 31 January to 28 February, are counted as complete months, which is how most institutions calculate them.
Frequently asked questions
Does it handle leap years?
Yes. Each calendar month is counted with its real number of days, so 29 February is handled correctly.
How are the total days calculated?
The difference between today and the date of birth is measured in milliseconds and divided by 86,400,000, the number of milliseconds in a day.
Can the result differ from official records?
Possible, because the age depends on your local time zone and the exact time of birth recorded.
Is this tool in the mobile app?
