What Apni Shop is
Apni Shop is a local online marketplace. The idea is simple: bring the shops from your neighbourhood and city online so you can order groceries, medicine, electronics and fashion from home, and have them delivered to your door. Every shop has its own page where you can see that store's products, prices and availability.
The site also provides free everyday tools: a Zakat calculator, a PKR to USD converter, a salary and income tax calculator, a gold Zakat calculator and an age calculator. They sit next to the marketplace so that the small calculations people make all the time can be done in seconds, in the same place they shop.

For shop owners
If you run a shop, you can create a page for it: add the shop name, address, opening hours and products. New orders arrive in your own panel, where you can accept or reject them and keep the status updated. Buyers can also message you directly.
Who we are
Apni Shop is a small, independent project run from Pakistan. It is not part of a larger company. The site is supported by advertising, which is why the tools are free to use and no fee is charged to buyers or shops for the basic service.

Results from the Zakat, tax, gold and currency tools are estimates only. Exchange rates and tax brackets change over time, and Zakat has detailed conditions that depend on your circumstances. Please confirm any figure before making a financial decision, and consult a qualified scholar for religious rulings.

How we work
It works in three steps. First, the shop owner creates a page - shop name, address, opening hours and products. Second, the buyer picks a city in the app, finds the shop, adds products to the cart and orders. Third, the shop confirms and delivers the order, while the buyer keeps getting status updates.

Is Apni Shop "everything"?
No - and being clear about it is better. We do not run a warehouse, we do not have riders and we do not sell any product ourselves. Every order comes from the shop you buy from. That also means product quality and delivery are the responsibility of the shop; we provide the platform and the support.
