Good to know
The picture keeps the same width and height as your video, so a 1080p clip gives you a 1920×1080 still. Frames with less motion look sharper, and a simple, bright frame makes a better cover image than a busy one. Nothing is processed on a server, so large files stay private and the tool keeps working offline.
Why exact age matters for forms
Government and job forms usually ask for age as on a cut-off date, not your age today. That is why this calculator has an "as on" field: set it to the last date for the application and you get the exact figure the form expects. The same applies to school admission cut-offs and some visa categories.

Leap year and birthday edge cases
If you were born on 29 February, the calculator counts your birthday on 28 February in non-leap years. Ages measured from a month end, for example 31 January to 28 February, are counted as complete months, which is how most institutions calculate them.

Yes. Each calendar month is counted with its real number of days, so 29 February is handled correctly.
How are the total days calculated?
The difference between today and the date of birth is measured in milliseconds and divided by 86,400,000, the number of milliseconds in a day.
Can the result differ from official records?
Possible, because the age depends on your local time zone and the exact time of birth recorded.
